What does my stay include?

Maua Diani is booked on a self-catering basis. Both houses include housekeeping and Maua Beach House also includes the services of a chef (optional for Little Maua). Drinking water, bed linen, beach and bath towels and soap are provided as well as drinking water during your stay. Extra costs to foresee are for food/drinks as well as tips for the staff.

What security is provided?

Maua Diani is located in a secured walled compound with day and night security guards equipped with alarm buttons.

Do you have back up water and power?

Maua Diani is solar powered. Heavy duty devices such as AC, ovens and water heaters are connected to the national grid only. The solar system is equipped with batteries providing the necessary back up capacity. We have a 75k liter water tank and use rain harvesting as well as the county water to fill it. The pools are filled with locally pumped borehole water.

Both villas are located in Diani Beach, Kenya, set directly on one of East Africa’s most beautiful stretches of coastline, Galu. The properties offer a beachfront setting while remaining conveniently close to restaurants and local experiences. You can find our exact location on the contact page.

What is the difference between Maua Beach House and Little Maua?

Maua Beach House is a larger, full-service beachfront villa ideal for families or groups, offering expansive living spaces and complete privacy.
Little Maua is a more intimate, design-led retreat—perfect for smaller groups or couples seeking a quiet, refined coastal escape.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is from 14:00, and check-out is by 10:00. We will always try to accommodate early arrivals or late departures depending on availability.

Both villas offer thoughtfully curated amenities including private pools, beachfront access, Wi-Fi, and beautifully designed indoor and outdoor living spaces.
